Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber were spotted at a New York City Salon where the Biebster got his long locks trimmed down.
Things are getting very serious between Baldwin and Bieber.
We sort of knew that already since they’re engaged and all, but there’s marriage and then there’s the emotional commitment of cutting your hair. And since Bieber has officially adopted the California surfer dude as his look, cutting his hair was a big deal(™).
Hailey convinced her Bieber-to-be to cut his flowing locks at a New York salon on Wednesday.
The location was Cutler Salon, and it was an event as much as anything Bieber and Baldwin have ever done. Paparazzi were everywhere and Hailey never left Justin’s side. It seemed almost childish that the Biebs would require this kind of emotional support just for a trim, but that’s what a fiance is for.
For those who are fans of Bieber’s most recent look, he didn’t get too much taken off the top. His ears were lowered maybe a quarter-inch if that, and his beach-ready hair remains as bodacious as ever.
Bieber and Baldwin have been on a roller coaster of emotions for this year. After dating briefly in 2016, the two parted on ugly terms and were even estranged for a time. In an interview, Baldwin said they had a “long period of time when we weren’t friends,” but time heals all wounds and the two got over whatever differences they may have had back in the day.
You might even say the two grew up.
Then in 2018, they started to rekindle that former relationship into the blazing bonfire of love that is currently. The two announced their engagement on Instagram with Bieber saying that Hailey is “the love of my life” and that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her.
The pair seem to be happier than ever, which made Tuesday’s emotional outburst all the more strange. Beiber and Baldwin were spotted crying in a park together, both alternating between consoling the other as they openly wept.
Nobody knows what that was about, but they seemed fine after drying their tears at a nearby cafe.
